Ooh yay! My first post! Ok, not really, but it definitely feels like it. I just spent quite a bit of minutes reverting all of my old entries to drafts so they are not viewable anymore.
So, J.Rose, why start all over? Good thing you ask. I started blogging in 2008 and there were so many posts I created since then. Within the last 2 years, I haven't been blogging as much and a lot of my pictures were on an old webhost. So instead of trying to re-upload all of the pictures, I decided to start all over.
Now there were quite a few very popular entries that I did within the last 5 years so I will definitely do updates to those entries and post them again.
What will you find me posting about now? I am definitely going to stick to the original type of content I used to write about. Which is just about everything! I'll post up about makeup, beauty, life and everything else that interests me. Of course, all entries will have labels so that if you are looking for anything in particular, you'll still be able to find it with ease.
One of the main things I am adding to my blog is my makeup artistry. I plan to post a lot more about that including before & afters, tutorials, makeovers, client photos, etc.
I will let this conclude my very first post. I hope to see some of my readers come back as well as meet a lot of new ones. Before I do go though, let me leave you with an FOTD from the other day.
I know, so original, the name of my FOTD, right? I promise to come up with better names in the future! LOL

To give my hair those nice curly waves, I used my Hana 1" hair straightener. Teased my hair up top at the crown to give it some volume and set it with Aussie You Can Shine hairspray. Since this was from the other day, my hair was still the lighter color. I'll post up my new darker 'do and how I achieved it on a future entry.
I used Temptu S/B foundation, a mix of 004 & 007 for my face. Gave myself a tint on the cheeks by adding some Temptu S/B blush 051 & 052 to the airbrush gun. Dusted some Make Up For Ever HD powder to set my face. On the eyes, I used Inglot eyeshadows to define my crease a little but still kept it a neutral brown/golden color. With a basic black eyeliner pencil, lined my upper lash line, gave myself a wing and finished off the lower lashline and water line. Curled my lashes with my Shu Uemura eyelash curler and used Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume mascara.
Lined my lips with MAC lipliner Soar, applied MAC Mystic lipstick and dabbed a bit of MAC lipgloss Cult Fave to the middle of my lips. Smacked them together and walked out the door!
